Our Vision

At BPA, we aim to ignite scholars’ learning experiences by providing opportunities to explore their passions. Every classroom is a career-centered simulated learning lab fostering academic inquiry, engagement, and meaningful 21st-century learning.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide scholars with a rigorous academic experience through engaging career opportunities and real-life applications. Our Career Pathway Program ensures scholars graduate academically strong, career-ready, and financially prepared for their futures.

Equity Imperative Goal

By June 2025, our 9th grade SWDs will increase their lexile level by one quintile from baseline, with the support of research-based learning platforms such as Actively Learn and Castle Learning.

With the implementation of the 9th grade advisory, and its social emotional learning programs, such as growth mindset activities that include partnerships with Community Based Organizations and the Read 180 program, our 9th grade students will foster individual reflection, character development, identity, camaraderie, and increase confidence.

Instructional Focus

By June 2025, we aim to improve college and career readiness scores of 10th and 11th-grade scholars in ELA and Math by 20%. We will achieve this by implementing research-based teaching methods, utilizing Illustrative Math and HMH Into Literature curricula, and monitoring scholar progress through a school-wide assessment plan.
