My arrival here could not have happened at a better time! I am a social butterfly, so I prefer communicating and building relationships in person; opposed to sitting in front of a computer screen. There were times when I worked from home, and I couldn’t get my web browser to function. My internet would freeze up on me, or I would just simply loose connecting right in the middle of a great lesson. Don’t get me wrong, there were some bonuses to working virtually. I was able to save money and that resulted in me paying off my student debt. My savings came from not buying gas because I was no longer driving to and from work every day. My daily lunch runs also came to an end, so not only did I save ; I became a better cook. Speaking of cooking, my favorite food is EVERYTHING, lol. No seriously, I love pasta, bacon, egg &cheese on a bagel, oxtails, pizza, mac & cheese- you name it and I love it. The only food I shy away from is MAYO… Anyway, enough of me. Honestly, I’m just happy to be onboard to serve this wonderful community. I am passionate about my professional craft, and I look forward to hearing your footsteps in the hallway. This year will be awesome! Welcome to BPA your home away from home.

Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Campanella and this is my 10th year of teaching special education here at BPA.
I was born and raised in New York City and have lived here throughout my entire life. I was an athlete during my college years (NCAA Division III) and my current hobbies include playing chess, billiards, bowling, and cooking. I run both the chess club and anime club here at BPA. I am the current chess champion here at BPA and am working towards getting a national ranked title of FIDE master in the United States Chess Federation. I am Mr. Del Ventura. This is my 6th year at BPA and my 18th year as a teacher and former Assistant Principal.
I’m a Brooklyn native but have lived in Orange County for 19 years. I have two “grown” sons in college. I am also a proud nerd–though I am a history and economics nerd. I love going to the gym but I have become Covid lazy and gained more weight and age has chipped away at muscles. I also love music–especially old R&B and Motwown. Peace out.
